The University of Tennessee's Career Gateway is looking to fill the Administrative Assistant position for NEB. Through temporary assignment placements, Career Gateway allows the opportunity to work with various departments while gaining valuable work experience. Each assignment has differing pay rates, work schedules, and lengths of assignments. The length of assignments is subject to change. The Job Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
The Job Pay Rate: $15.00/hour
The job length: approximately 4 months
The University of Tennessee Knoxville, College of Nursing is accepting applications for a temporary Student Services Administrative Assistant. This position manages the office functions of this department ensuring that the CON students, parents, and alumni receive accurate information, materials, etc. needed in a timely manner. This position assists Student Services with CON Student Services events, including but not limited to, graduation ceremonies & receptions, ABSN pinning and orientation activities and events.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent customer service skill
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
• Excellent written and oral communication skill
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks on or before deadline
• Ability to answer questions accurately and in a timely manner
• Ability to quickly gain proficiency in University ERP systems as needed
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Receptionist and/or clerical office experience
• Calendar management experience
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of office experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of office experience
