Aquent has an EXCITING opportunity for a UX Writer/Content/Content Strategist in New York City!

This is an ON-SITE position and you must be able to commute on daily basis to the office. Please consider this when applying.

  • Currently live in New York City and/or be able to commute to our client's office on a daily basis.
  • Be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship of any kind.
  • Be able to showcase your work through Case Studies and/or Portfolio.

Our client is seeking an experienced UX writer to support a content design team working on developing the next generation of AR devices. Your work will contribute to advancing the current and future versions of our wearable products that will make people more connected, and empowered in the world as they capture and share all of life's fleeting experiences, while staying present in the moment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve current features and ux flows.
  • Design new UX concepts and ideas that align with the overall product vision and user needs.
  • Engage closely with Design, Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing and Legal teams to ensure that new features or modifications to current product features are optimized for performance and meet technical requirements.
  • Contribute to user testing plans and integrate learnings in design flows.
  • Support beta, dogfooding and other launch-related activities to continuously improve your work.
  • Develop internal processes and document standards and practices to create efficiency and enable the team to scale their support.
  • Deliver content on time and inline with project team milestones.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5+ years as a UX Writer, Content Designer, and/or Content Strategist
  • 5+ years working with Figma
  • Previous experience with AI, AR/VR is strongly preferred
  • Experience working in product spaces with a very heavy focus on fitness, mental health, or software as medical devices.
  • Experience as a systems thinker and UX practitioner and have experience building design and interaction systems.
  • Experience influencing product and design decisions, understanding the downstream impact on messaging and clarity of language.
  • Experience going beyond the words to conceptualize different deliverables like competitive audits, user scenarios, user journey maps and visual direction.
  • Experience in grasping new and emerging concepts quickly and develop a strategy that meets the needs of your target audience.
  • Experience in thinking outside of the box on how to apply localization and accessibility frameworks to new content formats.
  • Experience working in undefined spaces. Ambiguity makes you want to jump in, not run away.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $84.47 to $93.86 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
