Position Summary
The role of an Engineering intern is to create electrical design of Electrical and Instrumentation systems for Assembly, and Verify parts meeting CSA requirement. Key deliverables will be assembly diagrams and CSA parts list for LM6000 package.

Position Summary
The role of an Engineering intern is to create electrical design of Electrical and Instrumentation systems for Assembly, and Verify parts meeting CSA requirement. Key deliverables will be assembly diagrams and CSA parts list for LM6000 package.
Position Responsibilities
- Designs assembly diagrams and verify CSA parts based on input from the PROENERGY Engineering team members, and end-user, if applicable.
- Find alternative parts that meet CSA requirements to replace components that fail the criteria.
- Work with Engineering team members to design a package meeting CSA standard. requirements
- Work with the Electrical engineers to create a standard parts list meeting CSA requirements.
- Check drawings, parts lists, and cable schedules for accuracy and thoroughness and notifies the Design Engineer or Engineering Manager of any non-conformance within the engineering system.
- Attend design reviews as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Enrolled in an undergraduate Electrical Engineering program (Sophomore or higher) with an interest in Power Generation and Controls Wiring.
- Must read, write and speak fluent English.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
- Successful candidates will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Desired Qualifications
- Completed basic electrical engineering coursework (Circuits I, and Circuits II).
- Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, logic drawings, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite programs.
- Ability to analyze and resolve problems in a logical and effective manner.
