Job Location: Remote with intermittent travel(25-50%)

Job Summary:

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Life Sciences Validation Engineer, the following are expected to form the overall job description:

Assist Project Manager/Validation Lead with project scheduling and coordination activities.
Support Project Manager/Validation Lead with GMP document creation & control and validation activities.
This role ensures project documentation compliance with Life Science industry regulations, supports project teams as requested by PM, and supports documentation and validation processes to maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Experience with GVault and Kneat or similar document control and validation systems.
Support document control and validation activities for Life Sciences projects.
Support Project Manager for project teams with scheduling and monitoring of document deliverables.
Support Project Manager for project teams as necessary with training or instructions on the use of GVault and Kneat document management systems per client requirements/procedures and industry standards & practices.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and properly archived.

Primary Skill: Life Science GMP Document Management and Validation
Secondary Skill: GVault and Kneat Document Creation and Management

Skills and Competencies:
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA, ISO) and validation principles.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., MS Office, document management systems).

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in document control and validation within the life sciences industry.
Proven track record of supporting Life Science projects in a regulated environment.
Experience with Life Science Validation Documentation practices and standards.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until June 24th 2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $90-125K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans
