We are currently looking for a Full Time Van Driver to join our Ada Senior Center team located at the Ada Senior Center.

Summary:
Responsible for transporting elderly participants to and from the Chickasaw Nation senior center. Ensures the safety of all passengers while driving tribal/GSA vehicle. Will deliver homebound meals to center participants and responsible for specific cleaning duties following daily routes.

* Maintain knowledge of and follow all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
* Ensures proper delivery methods are followed and that orders are correct and delivered to the appropriate department
* Sweeps, mops, dusts, vacuums and performs basic cleaning and janitorial procedures
* Dusts, polishes, and cleans furniture in common areas and other areas as requested
* Assists in preparation of orders for food and food service products for cost effectiveness and efficiency of operation
* Inspects elder's residence and premises for minor home safety hazards and corrects immediately or reports needed repairs to supervisor
* Prepares daily reports
* Prepares monthly reports
* Maintains schedule to establish time and mileage as best possible
* Keeps vehicle clean and orderly with daily cleaning after each trip as well as checks for lost items
* Fuels vehicle, checks and adds fluid when needed in accordance with Chickasaw Nation standards
* Attends all required in-service training, school, required meetings and training as well as any other required meetings
* Transports Chickasaw citizens and other First Americans to and from appointments, meetings, and activities as needed
* Assists passengers and equipment on and off vehicle as needed
* Maintains first aid kits and fire extinguisher in all center vehicles
* Distributes menus, calendar of events and newsletters to homebound participants on daily route
* All other duties as assigned
