Description
Perform vascular interventional procedures under the supervision of a physician, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Assist in preparing and positioning patients for procedures, explaining the process, and addressing any concerns they may have.
Operate imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy machines, angiography units, and ultrasound devices to visualize and guide procedures.
Administer contrast agents and medications as directed by the physician, monitoring patient response and vital signs.
Maintain sterile fields during procedures to minimize the risk of infection and adhere to infection control protocols.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and provide post-procedure care and education.
Document procedure details, patient responses, and any complications accurately and promptly in medical records.
Participate in quality assurance activities, including equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and performance improvement initiatives.
Stay updated on advancements in vascular interventional technology and techniques through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Adhere to regulatory standards, organizational policies, and ethical guidelines in all aspects of job performance.
