SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This job is responsible for performing basic history and physical pre-exam, as well as non-invasive exam and evaluation at a technical level in accordance with department protocols and applicable regulatory requirements. An incumbent assumes responsibility for the safe, efficient and proper operation of ultrasound equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Graduate of a formal two to four year ultrasound program and minimum of six (6) months vascular lab experience (includes educational internship or externship)
If recent graduate, ARDMS RVT credential required within six (6) months of hire. If graduated more than 6 months prior to hire ARDMS RVT credential required
Successful completion of BLS within three to six months of hire.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Two (2) years of experience preferred
