The AMER Venue Producer Manager leads a team of talented producers who deliver events for the AMER Event Productions team. A day in the life

The Venue Producer Manager will oversee event production producers. These producers are responsible for serving customers who book Amazon's event production services and adapt customer ideas into technical production plans and sequential operations. Producers act as stage managers and show callers, leading all onsite event operations, including pre-event and post-event debriefs with the production crews and third-party vendors.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations experience

- Ability to adjust work schedule to business needs, including occasional travel

- 5 years project or program management experience

- 5 years employee people management experience

- 8+ years planning and managing large scale events

- Experience with production booking and production operations

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex calendaring systems and databases, including related metrics

- Demonstrated experience with production management and/or stage management, including show calling

- Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging technologies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years of professional or military experience

- Evangelizes standard operation procedure, and increases efficiencies

- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to dive deep in to related metrics

- Demonstrated ability to train, educate, mentor and/or coach team members

- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and MS Office Suite. Optional, SharePoint, Visio, Tableau

- CSEP, CMP or other relevant event planning certification

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $105,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
