The Vice President of Channel Marketing is a key member of the Alternatives Marketing team and will develop and execute strategic marketing plans that support MSIM Alternatives via multi-channel distribution: Private Wealth; US Institutional; US Intermediary-Wealth Management and US Intermediary-RIA. This role is central to the generation and deployment of communications that differentiate the value proposition of our products and solutions in an effective manner, with the goal of generating demand for our offerings and amplifying our brand among current and prospective clients.

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as key point of contact for Sales, providing ongoing communication regarding strategy, status and results.

• Build strong cross-functional relationships across Sales Distribution, Marketing, Investment Teams, Legal & Compliance.

• Develop and execute segmented communication/promotional (air cover and campaign) strategy for multi-channel distribution framework.

• Deliver emails, newsletters and other forms of communication that support new launches, time-bound and ongoing capital raising, thought leadership content, webinars and client-specific and/or industry events.

• Collaborate with SMEs on platform-level collateral and web content.

• Create clear metrics, monitor and report results for channel-driven activities to enhance the client and prospect experience.

• Liaise with Product Marketing and other areas of the Morgan Stanley marketing ecosystem to stay current with best practices and ideate new communication tactics and methodologie

• Assist the Head of Alternatives Marketing and team with ad hoc projects.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements

• BA/BS degree required. Series 7/63, MBA or CAIA a plus.

• Minimum 7-10 years of work experience supporting marketing solutions for financial services firms with multiple investment products, servicing multiple distribution channels. Experience with Alternatives Investments strongly preferred.

• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate confidently to cross-functional senior stakeholders.

• Excellent time/project management and communications skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

• Proactive; self-motivated and goal oriented.

• Team player, but also enjoys working independently.

Wage Transparency Statement

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $130,000.00 and $190,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
