The Vice President, Corporate Philanthropy Programs will report to the SVP, National Philanthropy Campaign Strategies and is responsible for a diverse portfolio of program assignment, which includes: a) developing strategies to deepen the corporate donor pool from national and regional areas of target, in coordination with partners internally and externally to the department; b) working within the Office of Philanthropy team to create effective solicitation and relationship-building strategies with prospective corporate partners a) designing and executing strategies to evolve the Industry fundraising program, an innovative fundraising program that leverages corporate and volunteer relationships and generates approximately $20M to $25M annually (with expected growth targeted at 5-10% annually). Position carries a personal portfolio of approximately twenty-five prospective and current donors/prospects and corporate relationships of. Serves as a senior leader of the SVP's team and shares responsibility for cultivating a culture of excellence, collaboration, accountability, and efficiency throughout the Office of Philanthropy and moving toward the vision of being known as a model of excellence among elite fundraising programs.

As a successful candidate, you will:
  • Manage program teams assign and develop multi-year program plans, performance metrics, and staffing assignments that are consistent with overall objective of Office of Philanthropy.
  • Lead portfolio management and execution of relationship-building and solicitation strategies related to Top 10 prospective and current donors and corporate relationships.
  • Design, monitor and execute a national corporate philanthropy strategy that integrates with internal and external resources and is aligned with overall objectives of Office of Philanthropy and City of Hope.
  • Routinely evolve the fundraising events model to ensure highest levels of growth, efficiencies, productivity, and alignment with current priorities.
  • Leadership responsibilities and representation throughout the Office of Philanthropy and City of Hope.




Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ten (10) years of fundraising or equivalent experience required.
  • 2 years of experience in leading, coaching and developing direct report staff
  • Experience with designing and implementing fundraising programs, including developing donor-centered communications is required.
  • Experience working within a national organization with a local chapter structure is desirable.
