- Responsible for facilitating definition of strategy and operational plans for Specialty Care Services across the integrated delivery network of the region . Participates in system clinical programs planning and facilitates regional, and market based clinical planning.
- Along with the Medical Director of Specialty Services facilitates planning to drive growth, improve value, and drive exceptional quality for key regional specialty clinical programs. Works collaboratively other regional leaders, stakeholders, and resource teams to ensure plans are aligned and appropriately resourced and delivering expected clinical, operational, and value-based financial outcomes.
- Serves as a member of the Leadership Council. Works effectively as a team member in a matrix organization and promotes teamwork within and across the organization by maintaining positive relationships and utilizing effective problem-solving skills.
- Leads employees and providers to meet goals and performance metrics related to quality, patient satisfaction, provider and staff satisfaction, growth and financial performance. Engages leadership and subject matter experts in the development and implementation of system initiatives. Creates an environment in which effective communication and responsiveness to customer needs are priorities.
- Oversees human resource management for the assigned ambulatory areas creating a culture of employee engagement. . Organizes ambulatory operations through appropriate structure and delegation of functions. Mentors leaders in career growth and participates in succession planning efforts. Ensures plans to meet future staff and provider workforce needs.
- Assumesfiscal responsibility through budgetary planning and implementation
- Maintains knowledge and achieves compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements, licensure, accreditation requirements, record procedures and internal controls for areas of direct responsibility. Regularly informs and updates staff on organizational and industry issues. Implements actions necessary to ensure compliance with all corporate, legal and regulatory compliance issues, implementation of corporate strategies, compensation policies and any actions necessary to achieve corporate objectives.
- Collaborates with regional and support functions of nursing, finance, planning, quality and human resources to achieve successful outcomes for the regional integrated delivery network.
- Regularly displays and encourages ethical behavior in the areas of business ethics, legal compliance, confidentiality, conflicts of interest, vendor relationships and the reporting of questionable activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree
EXPERIENCE
- Ten years' experience, with six years' in leadership
