What will I be doing?

The VP of Sales will be responsible for leading their sales team to meet and exceed goals. This position is instrumental on leading the sales department and will manage all sales operations. Their duties include developing sales department strategies, lead Senior Management staff and setting sales goals. The VP of Sales will adjust the sales strategy as needed to increase profits. Will work closely with the sales team, as well as other department heads, key vendors, and other stakeholders. .

Owns the development and execution of an annual site strategy to grow the sales volume and improve cost in line withi n budgetary constraints.

  • Acquires information and identifies key issues and relationships relevant to achieving a long-range goal or vision; anticipates, risks and devises plans to manage them; adjusts quickly to changing market.
  • Marketing Programs - Works to refine lead campaigns, tour strategies, staffing, and marketing production.
  • Interdepartmental/Site perspective - consider multiple and multifaceted viewpoints when addressing opportunities, excels at viewing issues on multiple levels, develops scenarios to take care of the uncertainties the organization faces.
  • Balances stakeholders-Understands internal and external stakeholder requirement, expectations, and needs.
  • Works with SVP to support Sales Training, Development and ensures Performance Management for all sales employees.
  • Assist in Business Management budget process, financial review, goal setting, compensation plan development, monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting.
  • Ensures the profitability of the areas project/s by exceeding sales targets at or below cost of expense budget.
  • Finds ways to extend and apply innovative ideas to improve sales results-increase revenues, enhance customer.
  • Ensures sales management implements philosophy of tour efficiency and is profit driven.
  • Reviews structures and processes for hidden cost advantages and efficiencies
  • Coaches, develops, empowers, measures and mentors Direct Reports for future leadership positions and succession planning.
  • In partnership with Business Management, develop compensation programs that attract and empower quality sales-oriented team members while meeting or exceeding goals.

What are we looking for?

  • 6 + Years of Management experience at the Director Level
  • Previous Timeshare/Vacation Ownership Experience
  • Ability to effectively handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional and data-safe manner.
  • Must have initiative and ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • 8 + years' experience at an Executive Level
  • Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication and customer-focused skills.
  • Ability to carry out projects with minimal follow-up.
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast environment
