The Institutional RIA business was launched in 2021 through the acquisitions of Hyas Group and Cook Street Consulting and subsequently the Southern Employee Benefits practice of Milliman. Its goal is to continue strategic acquisitions in this space and help support organic growth. The business is a high priority strategic initiative within Morgan Stanley to increase market share within the institutional consulting market while also contributing to the Firm's asset growth and participant engagement goals.
We currently seek a full-time Vice President of Research to begin work immediately in our Cook Street Consulting's Greenwood Village, Colorado office.

The individual selected for this position will be responsible for ongoing investment due diligence, analysis and reporting to institutional clients, specifically to include:
• Investment manager due diligence and selection
• Asset class research
• Portfolio construction and asset modeling
• Macroeconomic and industry research
• Client-facing responsibilities and client project development/management
Cook Street's Research Department is responsible for delineating the firm's investment policy and the research which supports that policy. We are looking for an ambitious individual who is interested in a long-term career in the investment consulting industry.
Qualifications:
We welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds. The following is a basic outline of desired qualities:
Experience and Skill Set:
• Undergraduate degree required.
• Ideal candidate for this position will have approximately 5-10 years of previous experience in a similar role within the investment or consulting industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working directly with clients and in the production of client-facing research or investment deliverable
• Experience with investment and financial analysis platforms such as Bloomberg, eVestment, and Morningstar Direct is preferred
• Desire to progress towards the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation (if it has not already been attained).

Salary range for the position: $110,000 to $185,000 per year. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
