The vision of the Global Business Marketing Team is to create a global brand that amplifies our mission and establishes TikTok as a unique and critical investment for the industry we serve. TikTok's Global Brand Studio produces business entertainment that promotes TikTok-first thinking, servicing global business marketing teams and regional business marketing teams through a scalable approach. The studio is comprised of world-class production experts, designers, and events professionals dedicated to showing our agency partners and clients how best to show up on TikTok. We have a passion for, and deep knowledge of TikTok as a platform, and are full of ideas that will help propel the platform into the future.

This position reports to the Head of Global Brand Studio, with the goal of harnessing best-in-class production practices, resources and innovation to push boundaries and enhance TikTok's creative product.

Responsibilities
Production Operations & Team Management
- Manage, supervise and oversee the Production Department, including:
- Assigning production projects and managing the team's workload
- Ability to think vertically for content production and campaigns. Examples of vertical work encouraged.
- Oversight of all production executions, growing and supporting individual team members
- Ensuring operational seamlessness for all production project needs
- Communicating project timeline, deliverables and resource expectations clearly and expediently to the assigned Production team
- Supervising the production team on creation of budgets, timelines and assumptions for all production projects
- Monitoring and managing production tools and workflows, including integrating vendors and partners
- Communicating production processes and best practices, while continually seeking improvements to drive efficiencies in production and budget
- Reviewing progress across production, ensuring projects are completed to highest standard achievable, on time and within budget
- Mentoring, supporting and training Production staff, including team of producers and editors
- Establishing department and individual direct reports' mid and annual performance goals
- Ability to work on large scale, big-budget projects, and also execute with paper thin/no budgets when necessary

Bidding & Scoping on Production
- Identifying, briefing and managing third party partners that will help us deliver breakthrough work
- Overseeing production contracts, SOW's, terms of engagement in conjunction with Operations and Procurement
- Scoping and managing production projects to ensure effective use of all internal resources available, and helping to source and vet external production resources as needed
- Advising business and XFN teams during concept stage on production feasibility and execution options in order to deliver the highest quality work for the most efficient timeline and budget
- Partnering with Studio leadership to further develop and scale the Production department

Cross-Departmental Integration
- Collaborating with Global Brand Studios discipline leads across Creative Development, Design,Events, and Operations departments with a focus on production alignment and execution
- Fostering relationships with cross-functional departments to verify projects are delivering against asks while creating an environment that allows for innovation and feedback
- Communicating updates to Global Studio leadership and extended Business Marketing teams around production industry trends and best practices

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Leadership experience in producing and leading teams across a variety of mediums including video, digital & event production
- Creative development background mandatory
- Comfortable directing talent for onset productions
- Logistical guru able to pivot and sort out any issues calmly
- Graphic and motion knowledge for sizzles, with the ability to work seamlessly with design
- Experience creating production plans, assigning budgets, managing external partners, and coordinating delivery for a variety of assets
- Excellent time management, budgeting, and negotiating skills
- Experience in project management and developing a hybrid production / project management team

Preferred Qualifications
- Background in B2B marketing is a huge plus
- Commitment to promoting a professional, creative, friendly, and supportive work environment
- Always Day 1 mentality
- Demonstrated familiarity with TikTok platform and Creators
