Volleyball Coach

Qualifications:

• Current Alabama Teacher's Certification (preferred) or classified dependent upon qualifications of the
person holding the position
• Previous experience in sports as a participant and/or coach (preferred) but not required
• Completion of all requirements set forth by the AHSAA Coaches' Education Program
• Must have or be willing to obtain CDL
• Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of volleyball and a willingness to examine new theories

Essential Duties:

• • To instruct student-athletes in the fundamental skills, strategies, and physical conditioning necessary for
  them to realize a degree of individual and team success
  • To work with the athletic director in accomplishing the mission and goals of the athletic department
  • Ability to work with players, parents, administration and other coaches
  • Attend the AHSAA sponsored rules clinic for his/her sport
• Board Approved Stipend $2,000.
