Volunteer Services at Nursing Home

Ark Healthcare and Rehabilitation at St Camillus in Stamford is looking to grow its volunteer service membership. This is not a paid position and is contingent on a background check.

Areas of need include:

Escorting residents and helping with various recreational programs and events,

1x1 friendly visits- reading mail, reading the paper, strolling with patients, and keeping them company outside on facility grounds.

Playing games like checkers, chess,

1x1 arts and crafts on units,

Assisting with resident library organization and operation,

1x1 Music activities

Video conferencing

Wii games and activities with residents

Accompanying patients on medical appointments and out-trips.
