Role Summary/Purpose:

The VP, EDI Programs & Insights Manager will be responsible for leading the execution and implementation of key EDI program and initiatives. The ideal candidate is a thought leader with a demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data, develop key insights and influence stakeholders across the enterprise at various levels. This is a highly visible role that offers a unique opportunity to own to own key EDI initiatives.

A significant portion of this role will monitor relevant processes that support external awards/recognition, grant payments, matching gifts, SYF Foundation and other external/internal requests.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Own EDI global data strategy including managing key data insights and reporting processes by partnering with HR Analytics
  • Provide insights and partner with EDI leadership to develop and implement the Global Advancing Diverse Talent Initiative
  • Lead the relevant processes that support external awards/recognition, regulatory and other external/internal requests
  • Serve as point of contact with key internal stakeholders (HR COEs , Corporate Affairs, Government Relations, Corporate Communications etc.)
  • Partner with Corporate Communications to develop and support execution of strategic external/internal communication and engagement plans
  • Serve as the project lead and content manager for the diversity report
  • Research, establish and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders in the EDI space relevant to SYF's EDI vision
  • Serve as primary project execution lead for the annual Global Diversity Experience
  • Lead, plan, and facilitate the execution of SYF's EDI learning strategy to support the global workforce
  • Provide oversight and program leadership to the eight Diversity Network+ Leadership (inclusion months, cross network initiatives, network specific awards, etc.)
  • Manage the grants payments process for the Citizenship team; work with Controllership and Tax on reconciling monthly and annual grant and Citizenship payments
  • Oversee the ELT matching gifts program
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree in HR, Business, or related area; or in lieu of a degree 8+ years of experience in an HR or EDI focused position
  • 4+ years in HR or EDI focused position
  • 3+ years experience in a position involving project management and strategic partnership
  • Strong reporting and data analytics capabilities
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex data and provide key insights to executive leadership
  • Technically proficient with MS Teams, Office, and other management tools

Grade/Level: 12

The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • N ew hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
