As a key member of the Finance Team, the Vice President Finance will be responsible for delivering strong financial management leadership. The successful incumbent will provide a path for company financial planning, and budget management functions to ensure company accounting procedures and reporting conform to generally accepted accounting principles. Essential Duties:
  • Direct and coordinate LOB (Line-of-Business) financial planning and budget management functions.
  • Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance. Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against prior periods and budget. Manage the preparation of all financial reports, outlooks and forecasts.
  • Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department. Provide strong leadership for the department, recruit, train, supervise and evaluate department staff.
  • Collaborate and work with the Information Technology department to ensure company objectives are met.
  • Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and investment decisions. Work with department managers to develop business plans, participate in the analysis of new business opportunities and provide expert- level input to deal structure and advise on financial implications on business activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Establish short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Serve on planning and policy-making committees.
  • Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish department goals and objectives.
  • Oversee financial audits and continuously provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
  • Provide management with accurate and timely financial information
  • Safeguard company assets by maintaining an effective system of controls
  • Assist in establishing policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure the integrity of the financial statements in accordance with GAAP and corporate policies.


Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum education level of: BA/BS Degree (4-year) (MBA Preferred) in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • A minimum of 10 years of related work experience
  • At least 2-3 years in an finance management role working with complex computer systems/financial applications (i.e. JDEdwards, Oracle, etc.)
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
  • Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting budgets and show profitability analysis
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality work within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
  • Small and large project/program orientation
  • CPA license preferred
  • Ability to communicate to finance and operational upper management
  • Experience in entertainment preferred
Pay Scale: $159,289.00-$226,018.28 AEG reserves the right to change or modify the employee's job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship. AEG may require an employee to perform duties outside his/her normal description.
