Job Description:

Typical Day in the Role

• Purpose of the Team: The team is responsible for firmware and software development for surface devices, windows drivers development, and integration and build development for the next generation of surface devices

• Key projects: Embedded Firmware and Windows OS Drivers- growing window driver and window capabilities, seeing what system is causing issues and creation resolutions.

• Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 10% meetings, 20% coding, and 70% bug triaging and windows dump analysis.

Candidate Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 5-7 years of overall experience

• Degrees or certifications required: No specific degree or certification will be required for the role.

• Disqualifiers: Resumes showcasing less than 12 months of remaining access will not be eligible for the role.

• Best vs. Average: The ideal candidate would have Experience debugging on windows, window driver framework, UMDF (user mode device framework).

• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on feedback from the team and meeting deadlines.
