Description

Find material in the warehouse, gather samples and take to QC for approval for production usage. Update shelf life as needed in the ERP system, as well as managing sample requests for new raw material requirements for SAP. Forklift certification required. Data entry competent required.

Proficient in MS Outlook and Word

Strong attention to detail, meticulous, operational comprehension, capable of managing a heavy workload and working in a fast-paced environment

Ability to handle materials/boxes/shipments up to 50 pounds

Must understand and comply to all safety regulations, guidelines, and procedures

Must be able to work in an environment with a strong fragrance odor present.

Key Responsibilities:

Counting items on hand and assigning weight and shelf-life values

Gather samples, take them to quality, and document shelf life in the ERP system.

Keep track of products’ shelf life, varying from weeks to months or even years.

Prepare samples for shipments for couriers when necessary

Previous experience in inventory cycle counting

Requirements:

High School Diploma/ GED required

Forklift certification needed

3 to 5 years of experience in receiving, shipping, logistics, etc.

Prior process equipment operator experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience with business systems such as SAP, Kronos, Microsoft Office (especially Excel,

Power point and Outlook)

Physical Requirements:

Ability to operate a forklift 50% of the day;

Ability to climb on/off on a repetitive basis throughout the day;

Frequently move, lift, pull & push up to 50 lbs.;

Ability to hold & use scanner / tablet;

Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).

Must be able to work in an environment with a strong fragrance odor present.
