Job Title - Forklift Operator for Shipping & Receiving

About the Position
Our client is a manufacturer of corrugated packaging with over 60 years of combined experience and our quality is second to none. We are located in Flower Mound, Texas and we are currently the only corrugated manufacturer in Denton County. Some of our clients include the who's who of companies in the market today. Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate Forklift safely.

• Perform daily checklist for forklift.

• Perform visual checks of finished goods. If any of the product looks questionable you must bring to the attention of a manager or supervisor.
• Shipping/Production Forklift drivers are responsible for pulling the line and staging finished product on the dock.
• Must keep dock and staging areas clean and neat.

• Maintain proper housekeeping and safety - keep work area clean.

• Shipping forklift drivers must sweep trailers and keep clear of debris to maintain our product is delivered in good condition.

• Receiving Forklift drivers are responsible for unloading inbound shipments of raw material and must also help load the infeed line on the jumbo.

• Receiving forklift operators are responsible for keeping the receiving dock, scrap area around baler, compactor and scrap trailer clean and neat.

• Sit-down Lift Experience a plus
• Experience with floor loading is a plus.

  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
