Supervising Warehouse Operations: The warehouse lead is responsible for supervising and coordinating all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods. They ensure the efficient utilization of space and resources and maintain accurate inventory records.

Ensuring Safety and Security: Safety is a top priority in a warehouse. The warehouse lead ensures that all safety protocols and procedures are followed to prevent accidents and injuries. They also implement security measures to protect the warehouse and its contents from theft or damage.

Inventory Management: The warehouse lead is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels. They conduct regular inventory checks, reconcile any discrepancies, and ensure proper stock rotation to minimize product spoilage or obsolescence.

Equipment Maintenance: Warehouse operations rely on various equipment and machinery. The warehouse lead ensures that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Process Improvement: The warehouse lead actively seeks opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency. They analyze current workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to streamline operations and reduce costs.

Customer Service: The warehouse lead plays a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. They work closely with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to meet customer expectations and resolve any issues or concerns.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience utilizing inventory or shipping technology to oversee operations

Experience with forklift and warehouse machinery

Ability to troubleshoot and provide insight into the root cause of warehouse issues

Experience managing the day-to-day tasks and oversight, while being on the floor with colleagues
