Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager I, the Warehouse Worker performs work in the receipt, storage, inventory and issue of Lottery tickets and related materials. The Warehouse Worker may also receive supervision and guidance from the Warehouse Manager II and the Materials and Stores Supervisor.

This position is headquartered at the Northern Distribution Center. This position is not eligible for telework.

Working Conditions

A. Schedule: 8:30AM - 5:00PM (Monday through Friday)/ Overtime, including Saturday & Sunday, when operationally needed.

B. Travel: Travel is limited. Typically, travel is required for less than one week per year.

C. Other: The Warehouse Worker must possess a valid Class III California driver's license valid for the operation of any two-axle single-motor vehicle in order to perform the essential duties of the position.

Desirable Qualifications

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:
  • At least one year of experience assisting in the receipt, storage or issue of materials from a centralized stockroom or warehouse.
  • Knowledge of and ability to follow safety protocols on lifting and caring weigh upward of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in an environment that requires the incumbent be free from sensitivity to normal warehouse conditions including heat, cold, dust and/or other debris.
  • Knowledge of methods of taking inventories and maintaining inventory records.
  • Bilingual Skills are desirable, but not required.
