Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Warehouse/Forklift Operator with exceptional stand-up forklift capabilities to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods within the warehouse while maintaining high safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Forklift Operation: Safely and efficiently operate stand-up forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
2. Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and organize products for shipment; verify the quantity and quality of goods against orders.
3. Order Fulfillment: Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring the correct items are handled and shipped according to the order specifications.
4. Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
5. Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and system entries related to inventory movements, including shipping and receiving logs.
6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and warehouse procedures; report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

1. Forklift Certification: Valid forklift certification with demonstrated experience operating stand-up forklifts.
2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a warehouse environment, with a focus on stand-up forklift operation.
3. Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and stand for extended periods.
4. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and completing documentation.
5. Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
