Water Market Client AM

Salary: $180,000 - $200,000

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Water Market Client Account Manager with a strong background in sales and engineering. This role will focus on fostering client relationships, market leadership, and team development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the water market and a proven track record in business development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inspirational, business, market, and professional development leadership.
- Collaborate with internal resources to ensure the team is fully equipped to sell full-service consulting services.
- Assess risks and manage them appropriately for both Kleinfelder and our clients.
- Recruit and retain exceptional talent for the team.
- Drive sales from a select group of targeted clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in providing engineering and professional consulting services.
- Lead positioning and proposal efforts to grow the business.
- Mentor staff to successfully deliver technical projects and enhance growth mentality in the group.

Required Skills & Experience

Required Skills and Experience:
- 12+ years of related experience, with 4-5 years of direct client interaction in the water market.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical field.
- Comprehensive market experience in the design and construction of water supplies, treatment and distribution, wastewater collection, conveyance and treatment, and stormwater management.
- Established working relationships with Texas Water Development Board, municipal utilities, and river authorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and proven talent in business development.
- Client service management skills and proposal preparation experience.

Additional Information:
- The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in engineering and sales, especially in the water market (infrastructure)
- This role requires extensive client interaction, strong leadership skills, and a focus on business development.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Masters of Science in Engineering.
Professional Engineer License.
