JOB TITLE: WAX INJECTOR

JOB FUNCTION:

The Wax Injector must be able to inject all blades, cored jobs and shroud hangers and run all components:

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform core preparation.

  • Dress cores.

  • Inject all wax patterns, and components.

  • Leach solubles from wax pattern.

  • Maintain quality on all patterns, gating, and sprues.

  • Keep all dies clean after completing each job and stored in proper area.

  • Meet the specific requirements of the efficiency standards.

  • Keep the work area in a clean, orderly, and safe working condition.

  • Follow procedures and all safety rules.

  • Perform other duties in area assigned by supervision, including lot control and/or dressing.

EDUCATION:

High school education.

EXPERIENCE:

Three months OJT training.

INITIATIVE AND INGENUITY:

Achieve and maintain high initiative and ingenuity.

EFFORT:

Normal effort required. Lift/move from 2 - 25 pounds up to 10 times per hour.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsible for self. Make sure parts meet quality standards. Must be willing to work daily overtime and weekend overtime as necessary.
