Miller Brother Staffing has the immediate need of experienced Web Handlers for 2nd and 3rd shift.
PAY RATE - $18.50 an hour + 10% shift differential for 2nd/ 3 rd shift ($1.85 = $20.35/hour)
SHIFTS-
Associates engaged in coating operations who performs the following essential job functions. A Web Handler position is typically defined as having been trained on one or more equipment areas within the department.
Essential Functions:

SHIFTS-
- 1 st shift: 6AM-2PM **Shift runs Monday-Friday
- 2nd Shift: 2PM-10PM ** Shift runs Monday-Friday** (Training will be on 1 st shift for 3-5 months)
- 3 rd shift: 10PM-6AM ** Shift runs Monday-Friday **Training will be on 1 st shift for 305 months)
- Reliable, Eager to Learn, Organized, and Detail oriented Individuals.
- Self-Management, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving Skills.
- Material Handling/ or Forklift Operating Equipment experience required; Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
Associates engaged in coating operations who performs the following essential job functions. A Web Handler position is typically defined as having been trained on one or more equipment areas within the department.
Essential Functions:
- Performs a variety of production tasks, which include but are not limited to - setting up equipment, adjusting and operating equipment, observing for proper functioning of equipment, inspecting and testing products, etc.
- Accurately performs work assignments and computer transactions that are required to adjust inventory; accurately performs calculations using various units of measure.
- Demonstrates ability to perform any of the various operations within the department.
- Performs visual inspection of all materials used and produced.
- Performs periodic preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Maintains work flow and ensures use of proper materials and tools.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment; notifying lead operator and/or supervisor of unsafe practices, conditions, or acts.
- Achieves quality and throughput goals.
- Performs work according to SPAR's, WI's, and verbal instructions; seeks lead operator and/or supervisor assistance in resolving problems which are not covered by procedures.
- Effectively communicates with other associates, lead operators, supervisors while maintaining the self- confidence and self-esteem of others; relays information to the next shift; voluntarily assists other associates, and communicates effectively to prevent problems from occurring.
- Completes required verifications and paperwork/documentation, accurately and neatly.
- Participates in training and assists with training, where applicable.
- Collaborates and contributes to the development of new products, processes, and equipment.
- Participates in problem-solving and takes initiative to make changes through change control procedures.
- Responsible for following all relevant regulations (e.g. ISO, FDA, OSHA, EPA, DEP, etc.) and company procedures.
- Responsible for following all applicable waste handling procedures.
- Requires minimum of a high school education - HS diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers, clients, and supervisors

- Uses procedures and skills to carry out assignments.
- Ability to wear proper PPE for extended periods of time. Minimally safety glasses, sleeve covers, and gloves.
- At times, uses of additional PPE including masks covering mouth and nose for extended periods of time are required.
- Work environment involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, and chemicals; will be required to use personal protective equipment such as masks, gowning, hairnets, gloves, safety glasses/goggles, shields, etc..
- Physical exertion such as long periods of standing, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities should be expected; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items (objects 50); constant manipulation of utensils for weighing of components, requires common physical characteristics and abilities, such as above-average agility and dexterity.
