We are actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Weekend 9am-4pm Front Desk Receptionist to join our Milton Home team!

PRIMARY RELATIONSHIPS

Residents, family members, clinical team, physicians, consultants, and all levels of staff.

OBJECTIVE

This position will coordinate front desk/office activities and operations while providing clerical and administrative support to management.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in office administration or related field preferred.

2. At least three years of administrative and clerical experience required.

3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

5. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

6. Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

7. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

8. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

9. Basic understanding of how to operate standard business equipment.

10. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

a. Directs office activities and functions to maintain efficiency and compliance with company policies.

b. Assists clerical and support staff with their assigned duties, particularly when more advanced, skilled, or sensitive work is required.

c. Prepares agendas, makes travel arrangements, and maintains calendars for senior management.

d. Oversees telephone services, email correspondence, and mail distribution.

e. Maintains office supplies inventory.

f. Maintains records, documentation, and files, particularly more complex or sensitive files such as employee files.

g. Performs other related duties as assigned.

4. Ability to lift/carry a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.

5. Ability to push/pull a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.

6. Ability to perform tasks which require arm-hand steadiness.

7. Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time through duration of shift(s).

8. Ability to squat, climb stairs, reach above shoulders, twist, bend, and kneel repeatedly through duration of shift(s).

9. Ability to hear normal sounds within background noise.

10. Ability to speak clearly and make self understood.

11. Ability to keep attention on task if routinely interrupted.

12. Ability to understand a variety of concepts/approaches.

13. Ability to remember tasks/assignments for a full shift.

14. Ability to work beyond regularly scheduled shift (overtime) when necessary.

1. Follow correct policy and procedures for department and facility Fire/Disaster/Missing Person Plan. Know the location of fire alarms and extinguishers.

2. Follow correct policy and procedure for hand washing.

3. Follow guidelines for proper method of lifting.

4. All doorways, hallways, and areas are to be kept clear.

5. Know the location and purpose of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

6. Follow guidelines for department environment and safety measures.

7. Follow guidelines for safe handling, inspection, maintenance and storage of equipment. Report any malfunction of equipment.

8. Follow guidelines for safe handling and storage of chemicals and supplies.

9. Follow correct policy and procedure for reporting of incidents: staff, residents, etc.
