Summary: As the Well-Being & Engagement Consultant, you will support NFP clients in Atlanta, GA area alongside one remote Well-Being & Engagement Consultant. In this full-time, hybrid position, you will work collaboratively with the account teams and producers and guide a variety of clients in the development and support of impactful well-being and engagement initiatives. You will also enjoy collaborating with the rest of the Atlantic Region Well-Being & Engagement team and will work closely with the regional practice leader.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a book of business of primarily large client accounts, delivering wellness strategy consulting and project management, including bi-weekly/monthly calls and periodic in-person meetings.
  • Provide strategy for clients in forming and developing their well-being program initiatives, goals, committees, and effective communication planning to promote client well-being programs.
  • Analyze medical and Rx claims data and benefits/program utilization to identify population health management opportunities, recommending strategic steps and third-party vendor solutions.
  • Evaluate carrier and vendor programs and develop strategies to build engagement to maximize all existing resources and services.
  • Lead RFP's for well-being solutions and programs , including vendor evaluation, comparison, demos, pricing negotiation, selection implementation, and ongoing services ongoing services to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Leverage NFP's size and reputation to negotiate competitive fees and solution options from carriers and vendors.
  • In collaboration with the Well-Being & Engagement team, develop and promote innovative resources and services that can be leveraged across clients and effectively utilized by the benefits team to support clients.
  • Connect regularly with account teams to keep them up to date on well-being resources, solutions, and strategic recommendations.
  • Participate in cross-office functional teams to contribute to national well-being deliverables such as trainings, benchmarking, trend reports, etc.
  • In conjunction with Well-Being Coordinator, coordinate onsite and virtual events for clients including health fairs and educational seminars/webinars; some onsite events require in person attendance, with some travel to clients in locations outside Atlanta.
  • Curate client and prospect presentations to effectively communicate the NFP well-being value proposition, including preparation of RFP responses and presentations.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of compliance rulings and recommendations related to workplace well-being.
  • Stay informed on industry research, trends, vendors, best practices, and benchmarking to bring innovative approaches to client-specific strategies.
  • Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with both internal (NFP leadership, account teams, shared services, producers) and external (vendors, insurance carriers, clients, etc.) stakeholders.
  • Champion the Atlantic region holistic well-being initiatives for the Atlanta office to drive engagement and positively impact the health and well-being of NFP colleagues.
  • Additional duties as opportunities for contributions are identified.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and well-being and engagement industry and trends
  • Passion for health and well-being; energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive
  • Ability to foster positive working relationships internally and externally at all levels across organizations, especially with account management teams to support an integrated client strategy
  • Excellent consulting and project management skills including a strong attention to detail
  • Experience setting strategic plans for promoting workplace well-being
  • Ability to analyze and summarize data including claims data, engagement data, biometric screening data, etc. Medical knowledge not required.
  • Proactive approach, and excellent follow through
  • Ability to work independently and anticipate client and team needs
  • Proven aptitude for quick and creative thinking within demanding deadlines
  • Effective time management and decision-making skills, including strong aptitude for organization and prioritization
  • Ability to express ideas clearly and diplomatically in both written and oral communications
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) as well as technology platforms including Teams, Zoom, etc.
  • Corporate Employee Benefits experience is a plus.
Education/Experience/Licensing/Certifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Public Health, Health Promotion/Education, or related field
  • 2+ years' experience in well-being program development, implementation, evaluation, marketing, and promotions, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Wellness certification preferred
  • Life and Health license may be obtained

Occasional lifting and transporting of materials to client events with the assistance of a carrier.

Working Conditions: Climate controlled office environment; occasional visits to client work sites that may not be climate-controlled.
