Wellness Manager - Community Engagement

Responsible for management, development, implementation, and evaluation of wellness programs in support of the organization's health care strategies. This includes management of evidence-based interventions, wellness coaching, tobacco cessation, wellness incentive programs, wellness fairs, screenings, awareness campaigns, and national health observances, as well as supporting service line strategies in the community to improve population health and prevent disease. This team member would serve on committees, attend applicable meetings, and be involved in creating environmental changes which support health and well-being. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital. Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skill

Qualifications

Master's degree in public health, health promotion, wellness, or related degree. Requires minimum of 10 years' experience in public health, wellness, or health promotion field. Current CPR certification. Proficiency with database and software applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience in educational/program development in public health, wellness, or health promotion fields.
