We're on the lookout for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Wholesale Account Specialist. In this dynamic role, you'll be instrumental in fostering relationships between independent repair facilities and local dealerships, promoting the adoption of key software tools, and driving engagement in our programs. Your efforts will streamline parts ordering and enhance collaboration, driving significant value for our dealer network.

Location: Remote but will require travel to the different dealerships in the Boston area

Compensation: Up to $74.08 per hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities

New Shop Account Outreach (40%)
  • Cold Calling: Visit independent repair shops to establish parts ordering relationships.
  • Key Personnel Identification: Connect with shop personnel responsible for parts ordering.
  • Facilitate Introductions: Introduce shop customers to dealership Parts Managers.
  • Order Confirmation: Collaborate with dealership teams to manage live customer orders.
  • CRM Updates: Regularly update customer profiles in the CRM system.
  • Document Visits: Log all visits and interactions to assist with account maintenance.


Shop Software Adoption (40%)
  • Identify Non-Users: Target shops not using CollisionLink, OPS, CCC, or RepairLink EPO platforms.
  • Promote Collaboration: Encourage shops to collaborate with local dealerships.
  • Support: Assist shops with platform sign-up, installation, and integration.
  • Issue Management: Handle and escalate any platform-related issues.


Dealer Program Engagement (20%)
  • Field Coordination: Work with Wholesale Parts Specialist for each Dealer.
  • Market Kickoff Participation: Join market kickoff events for shop visits and platform adoption.
  • Share Plans: Develop and share shop contact plans and schedules.
  • Review Sales Data: Monitor Dealer sales data to track platform adoption.
  • Coaching: Guide Dealers on best practices for order management and conversion.
  • Opportunity Escalation: Identify and escalate opportunities to Dealer Management.


Qualifications

Experience
  • Minimum: 5+ years in the automotive or wholesale industry.
  • Preferred: Experience directing sales across multiple channels and knowledge of the US automotive aftermarket.


Education
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree.
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Business Management or Marketing.


Skills
  • General: Strong communication, integration of people and systems, influencing, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Specialized: Wholesale parts sales, sales acumen, and understanding of the US automotive aftermarket.
  • Preferred: Experience in OEM sales, wholesale (field) automotive experience, parts/accessory/service marketing, and retail/parts management. Proficiency in current Dealer DMS systems and office applications.


Work Flexibility
  • Travel: Up to 95%, within regional areas in the US.


Pay Details: $68.00 to $74.08 per hour
