Apple SAR Engineering team is looking for a Technician to work on RF Exposure (SAR/MPE) characterization across different wireless technologies for Apple's wireless products

Key Qualifications
Working experience of engineering testing, in particular hands-on experience for wireless measurements is desirable.
\tWorking experience with different lab equipment: network analyzers, signal generators, signal analyzers, call boxes (i.e. CMW) is desirable
\tExperience with different wireless communication systems such as GSM/UMTS/LTE, 802.11xx, Bluetooth etc. is desirable
\tExperience with regulatory requirements and certification process for wireless consumer devices, including FCC, ETSI, 3GPP etc. is a plus.
\tExcellent communication skills required, both written & verbal
\tExperience with 5GmmWave standard and/or hands-on chamber/system level understanding is a plus.

Description
Validating RF Exposure test cases for different regulatory domains in certification test setups.
•\tCoordinating with engineers within SAR team to ensure product validation covers all certification tests.
•\tExecute validation plan for RF Exposure facing SW features
•\tDebugging marginal/failure tests with senior engineers within team and help drive design changes to address issues
•\tMaintain test setups via periodic checks, calibration, etc.
•\tHelp Regulatory Compliance teams in planning/executing on final certification testing at 3rd party test labs.

Education & Experience
BS degree or Associate Degree + 2 years of job experience
