Responsibilities
Configure the Workday system with functional requirements as specified in approved change requests
Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders to understand business problems and assist in the development of creative and sustainable technical solutions
Participate in the testing of functional and technical changes to the Workday system
Recommend ongoing process improvements and enhancements to the Workday system, and to a lesser extent, its related platforms
Work with Core Services team and local HR stakeholders, with supporting team members and Process Architects, helping to problem solve concerns and contribute to the development of integrated solutions that allow for a seamless colleague experience
Independently troubleshoot reported system issues by testing setup and design elements to ensure efficient operation of the Workday system
Actively support HR initiatives through both technical and non-technical expertise to drive maximum value and benefit
Document and Configure Workday system updates and Business Process changes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
3+ years of experience in process design, requirements gathering and hands-on technical configuration
2-3 yearâs work experience in at least two of the following Workday functional modules: Core HCM, Benefits, Talent & Performance, Payroll, Compensation and/or Merit Cycle
General functional understanding of the core Workday HCM platform, with ability understand end-to-end process flows
Demonstrated technical competence, with a proven capability to independently solve problems and implement suggested and recommended solutions
Ability to support in the execution and delivery of projects and stakeholder requests
Demonstrated ability to consistently adhere to a broad variety of organizational standards and policies, with a relentless dedication to success
Experience working in a broad (preferably global) environment with a variety of colleagues and/or customers
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and partnering skills
Solution-focused with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Education: Bachelors Degree
