Requirements / Qualifications
Education:
Graduation from high school, GED equivalent or higher; and completion of college coursework in business and spreadsheets.
Formal training in workers' compensation is desirable.
Experience:
Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in a private or a public agency processing personnel records and leaves is preferred. Experience in the areas of occupational safety and health, workers' compensation claims or claims investigation is highly desirable.
Equivalency Provision: Associate's degree or equivalent (i.e. 60 semester units or 90 quarter units) in business administration, labor studies, or a related field, from an accredited post-secondary academic institution may substituted for two (2) years of the required experience.
