Job Description
Responsible for analyzing data, forecasting staffing needs, and collaborating with the business to optimize our workforce. Helps to develop contingency plans to address potential workforce challenges and monitor KPIs to measure the success of workforce planning initiatives.
Job Responsibility
1.Responsible for reviewing historical data and industry trends to analyze and forecast workforce needs.
2.Assists with developing models and scenarios to project staffing requirements based on business goals and objectives.
3.Regularly updates workforce planning tools and systems to maintain accuracy and alignment.
4.Partners closely with various functions within Shared Services, business leadership, and other stakeholders to understand business priorities.
5.Assesses workforce plans, helps to make recommendations, and provides insights to Northwell decision-makers.
6.Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between workforce strategies and organizational goals.
7.Regularly exercises independent judgement on matters of significance within defined procedures to determine appropriate actions and approaches.
8.Identifies opportunities for efficiency improvements in resource allocation and utilization.
9.Helps to make recommendations on new processes, tools, and services that can impact multiple projects and other functions.
10.Responsible for monitoring and reporting out on workforce-related metrics, adjusting strategies as needed.
11.Stays informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in workforce planning.
12.Understand department, division, corporate strategy and operating objectives; able to identify impacts.
13.Decisions may be guided by precedent, previous experience, and known professional guidelines and compliance requirements. Often required to interpret policies, standards, requirements, and approaches to meet work objectives.

Job Qualification
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Statistics, or a related field, preferred.
• 1-3 years in workforce planning or a related analytical role, preferred.
• Strong Presentation skills, preferred.
