Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Wyse Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide specialized assistance with Dell Hybrid Client/WinIoT and Wyse Management Suite (WMS). This role is pivotal for managing and deploying thin clients and their operating systems within a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of thin client technology, including imaging, patch management, and troubleshooting network-related issues that impact communication between thin clients and WMS.
Key Responsibilities:

• Dell Hybrid Client/WinIoT Assistance: Provide expert support for Dell Hybrid Client and WinIoT (Thin Client OS), ensuring efficient operation and optimal performance.
• Wyse Management Suite (WMS) Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of WMS to manage and maintain thin clients and their operating systems, including endpoint deployment and management within a VDI environment.
• Thin Client Imaging & Patch Management: Oversee the imaging process for thin clients and implement patch management strategies to ensure up-to-date and secure systems.
• Networking & Transport Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to networking and transport that may affect communication between thin clients and the Wyse Management Suite.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of thin client systems.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience with Dell Hybrid Client, WinIoT, and Wyse Management Suite.
• Proficiency with Ubuntu or other Linux distributions.
• Proven track record in thin client imaging and patch management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills related to networking and transport issues.
• Ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications related to Dell Hybrid Client, Wyse Management Suite, or VDI environments.
• Previous experience in a similar SME role or in a large-scale IT environment.

In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hourly rate range for this role is $80.00 to $120.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
