The diagnostic X-Ray/Radiology Technologist performs radiographic examinations of the highest possible quality while limiting radiation exposure and using conventional, fluoroscopic, portable, and c-arm radiology equipment. Complies with measures to assure that patient/customer satisfaction results are consistently maintained. Appropriately supervises students according to competency level.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Knowledge of radiology standards and procedures normally acquired through graduation from an approved radiology school, an Associate Degree in Radiology, or sufficient on the job training to meet State of Wisconsin Radiographer licensure requirements.
  • State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer license required.
  • Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of
  • Possesses and maintains active ARRT(R) certification desired.

Hours

  • Full Time- up to 80 Hours every 2 weeks; varied shifts available

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is the flagship of the Aspirus system that serves patients in 14 counties across northern and central Wisconsin, as well as the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
