CDL Required

Be able to move equipment, which may be aided by the use of a yard truck, and drive box trucks. Loads linen carts on trailers and makes sure they are properly identified by hospital. These carts must be lined up in the correct order for unloading at each facility. The truck loader is also responsible for putting the correct number of empty carts back on the trailers. The carts could weigh as much as 700 plus pounds. The truck loader receives or assists in the receiving of incoming shipments from suppliers. Assist in unloading carts of soil from inbound trucks and trailers.

This position is responsible for loading all the linen carts onto the trailers, must also put the correct number of empty carts back onto outbound equipment, and assist in unloading inbound soil carts. This job is exposed to daily weather conditions.
