YB USA Violence Interruption VISTA- Compton, CA

Compton YouthBuild, a division of EntreNous Youth Empowerment Services is a workforce and leadership development program for young people ages 16 to 24 that live in economically underserved communities. Young people learn leadership, advocacy and workforce readiness skills, while they earn an accredited high school diploma and industry recognized certifications. We are a full-time, project-based program focused on social justice and restorative practices that allows young people to develop skills needed to rebuild their communities and their lives.

Member Duties : The Violence Interruption Initiative VISTA will develop resources, foster community awareness, and utilize data and research to meet underlying financial, employment, educational, and housing needs for individuals who are prone to utilize violence.
