Our Client is seeking a motivated professional to work as a Youth Residential Aide in the Bristow, Manassas, and Gainesville, VA areas.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Assist youth with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and housekeeping tasks.
* Provide guidance on routines and help establish good habits for self-care and organization.
* Offer emotional support and create a nurturing environment to help youth navigate personal challenges.
* Implement and follow behavior management plans to address and redirect inappropriate behavior.
* Support educational goals by helping with homework, studying, and academic organization.
* Coordinate with schools and educators to ensure educational needs are met and address any academic concerns.
* Monitor the physical and emotional well-being of residents, including medication management and adherence to health protocols.
* Ensure the residential environment is safe and adheres to all safety regulations and standards.
* Respond effectively to crises or behavioral incidents, using de-escalation techniques and providing immediate support.
* Document and report incidents, and participate in debriefing sessions to improve future responses.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident interactions, progress, and incidents.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* CPR/First Aid Certification
* Handle with Care is a plus
