Our client, a leading Agribusiness company, is seeking an Accounts Payable Representative Specialist to join their growing Finance team.

As an Accounts Payable Representative, you will be a key part of the Accounts Payable and Receivable department, supporting various teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong communication skills to ensure smooth financial operations.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Representative

Location: Onsite for the first few weeks, then predominantly remote with occasional visits to the office in Sycamore, IL

Pay Range: up to $24/hr

What's the Job?

• Maintain accurate client files and recommend improvements to invoicing and collection processes.
• Monitor invoice processing and ensure timely payments to vendors and collections from clients.
• Review client documentation for proper system setup and compliance with accounting procedures.
• Ensure proper recordkeeping for purchases to support tax preparation and audits.
• Train and guide team members and provide assistance as needed.

What's Needed?

• 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, and/or AP/AR
• High School diploma or GED (Associate's degree in a related field preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience using accounting software systems
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
