LaSalle Network has partnered with a very well-known and prestigious law firm in the search for a highly organized and professional Billing Specialist. This company is well known for being the industry leader and is looked highly on by others. Headquartered in Illinois, they are looking to hire the right Billing Specialist for their location in Farmers Branch, TX.

Reporting to the Billing Manager, this position will be responsible for making sure all billings are done correctly and in a timely manner, working hand in hand with attorneys.

This position is hybrid and budgeted at a base salary of $85,000-$95,000.

Billing Specialist Responsibilities:

• Maintain expertise of the firm's billing systems and tools
• Work with Client Service Lawyers to ensure timely billing and collections
• Issue draft bills that meet attorney/client requirements for attorney review
• Prepare ad hoc reports for billing attorneys and clients as requested
• Issue expertise of Electronic Billing vendors; upload/monitor invoice submission in same

Billing Specialist Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• 2+ years of legal billing experience
• Advanced Excel skills, able to work with large sets of data
• Outstanding communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills
