We're looking for a Forklift Operator to work at our client in Phoenix, AZ! Earn $17.25/hr. in a fast-paced & fun environment, supporting a massive marketing and print production operation. Our client is a growing consumer goods company that focuses on creating solutions for everyday living.
This is a temp-to-hire position - convert to a full-time employee after 520 hours of work!

About the Role:

In this position, you will work operate a forklift within the warehouse, utilize scanners to maintain the proper control of inventory. You will move and store materials to designated areas, perform physical inventory counts as required. You will also unload incoming factory transfers and perform other duties and tasks as necessary.

Pay Rate: $17.25 per hour

Available Shift Times:

• First Shift: Monday - Friday, 6 a - 2 p

Key Responsibilities:

• Compares pallet tag to pallet load and configuration to ensure accuracy.
• Scans bar code on the pallet label to enter information into the scanner and manually enters quantity information into the scanner; downloads information contained in scanners into the IRIS inventory system hourly.
• Using powered or hand operated lift equipment, stores finished goods or parts in designated locations and scan's location.
• Performs physical inventory counts as required.
• Performs vehicle inspections according to company standards.
• Performs housekeeping daily.
• Performs duties in a manner that supports accurate inventory records.
• Unloads incoming factory transfers as necessary

Key Requirements:

• Must have current Forklift Certification
• Previous manufacturing experience
• Understand simple oral and written instruction and be able to communicate orally to small groups of employees
• Add, subtract, and multiply
• Walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds
