Candidate Skills and Qualifications:

Must have:
  • Extensive hands-on experience designing available, cost-efficient, fault-tolerant, and scalable applications on AWS services.
  • Extensive hands-on experience using React and NodeJS on AWS services.
  • Full cycle implementation experience in developing web applications from scratch with micro-service architecture including various architecture patterns such as event driven model, messaging queue etc.
  • Experience in writing unit tests with Jest or other related tools.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies Agile and Scrum.

Must be able to:
    • work with AWS databases including RDS (MySQL) and DynamoDB (NoSQL).
    • work with DevOps pipeline using Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, MSBuild including AWS DevOps technologies

Required Skills:
  • 8 years of experience in developing and implementing web applications high proficiency in React and NodeJS.
  • 8 years of experience with SQS, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ or similar messaging queues
  • 5 years of experience with Jest or similar tool
  • 5 years of experience with Agile development experience with Scrum, Kanban
  • 5 years of experience in developing unit tests with Jest or other test frameworks
  • 5 years of experience in Proficient with the Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, TEAMS, Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint
  • 5 years of experience in Proficient in creating and working with build scripts in build environments such as CodeBuild, Jenkins or equivalent
Preferred Skills:
  • 3 years of experience in depth knowledge of key AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda etc
  • 3 years of experience Strong understanding of security best practices including REST API Security, JWT Authentication and IAM (AWS)
  • 3 years of experience with WCAG 2.0 Standards, 508 Compliance/Web Accessibility
  • 3 years of experience presenting solutions to management and executives
  • 1 year of experience AWS certification (any). Attach candidate's AWS certification PDF(s) along with resume.
