Length: 1 year contract (possible extensions or Full-time) Location: Houston area (Hybrid onsite) Job Title: TBM Analyst Job Description: Analyst will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the data model within the TBM tool. He or She will be responsible for gaining an in-depth understanding of the tool configuration, the cost allocation model incl. data load, analyzing and reporting of operational data within the tool. The TBM Analyst will work within IT and potentially business contacts to facilitate new and ongoing analytics reports. Job Responsibilities: * Acts as, and is regarded as, a Subject Matter Expert for the TBM tool, focusing on cost modelling and improvement opportunities * Executes operational processes to ensure usability of IT financial data within the TBM tool * Works with IT domain leaders to facilitate on-going data model maintenance, TCO for Applications and Infrastructure, variance analysis, monthly consumption reports and executive reporting to support the TBM tool financial model * Works with IT contacts to understand data requirements, translating business requirements into configuration elements within the tool, building out required transforms, models, allocations and metrics Software/Technical Skills: - Technical expertise in Apptio, VMWare / Digital Fuel, Nicus MPWR, or other equivalent cost modeling tools, with Apptio skills strongly preferred - SQL (basic query construction and navigation within SQL Mgmt Studio software)
