Job Description

Under the general supervision with latitude for the exercise of independent initiative and judgement. Serves in the facilitation and coordination of assigned functions delegated by the
Human Resources Director or designee

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring Employee's Time and Leave usage within the First year and/or Probationary Period
  • Coaching Department Managers on Disciplinary and Termination Processes.
  • Coaching New Employees on the Probationary Period and Expectations during Orientation
  • Responsible for enrolling employees in the Retirement process
  • Inform all new employees about Benefits and Retirement options
  • Responsible for the retirement and Management Benefits process for all employees
  • Participate in Human Resources File Audits in preparation for surveys governing H_H (i.e. T JC, OMH, Article 28, DOH, etc.)
  • Other projects and duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline; or
2. Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline and two (2) years of relevant experience in human resources or personnel administration, labor relations, employee relations, learning and development, talent acquisition, customer service (providing information and resolving customer concerns), or a related administrative support function; or
3. High School Diploma or its educational equivalent and four (4) years of relevant experience, as described in "2" above.
