General Summary
The Stocker & Delivery Associate is a part-time position. Most of the time spent at work will involve restocking shelves and making local deliveries. Typical shifts are 4-8pm. Applicants must posses a valid NY state driver's license.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Include the following:

Customer Service:
•
Provide a positive representation of Ace Hardware of Rome.
•
Assist customers inside and outside the store with personal, customized service based on the premise of amazing every customer, every time.

Store Operations
•
Assist in creating a positive, professional and safe work environment.
•
Assist with receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise throughout the store.
•
Assist with maintaining back stock levels.
•
Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area.
•
Operate forklift with proper training.
•
Participate in store meetings.
•
Be professional in appearance and actions.
•
Perform deliveries using company vehicles.

Other Essential Requirements:

Education/Training
High School or GED equivalent.

Experience
Formal retail experience preferred.

Physical Demands
Standing, walking, lifting (up to 80lbs) and climbing.

Requirements

Valid NY state driver's license.
