Volt is immediately hiring for a Facilities Maintenance Technician II in El Cajon Ca.

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician II you will:

• Conduct routine to intermediate maintenance tasks on machinery and hydraulic equipment, which may involve inspecting belts, checking fluid levels, cleaning sump tanks, and replacing filters
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks, which may involve HVAC, insulation, carpentry, equipment installation, alignment, balancing, building repairs, and floor maintenance
• Conduct Inspections, diagnose malfuctions, perform tests, and operate machinery to ensure proper processes
• Modify functional components of devices or control instruments.
• Perform general cleaning of facilities, including internal and external.
• Maintain cleanliness in both internal and external facilities.
• May assist vendors and contractors on site.
• Carry out regular duties, including painting, wall repair, plumbing, and minor electrical work.
• Provide support for office relocations, renovations, supply management, and related tasks.
• Consistently exhibits punctuality, follows supervisor instructions, collaborates effectively with colleagues, adheres to work rules and procedures, complies with company policies and goals, and is open to constructive feedback.
• Other duties as assigned, requested or needed

This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity,.

The ideal candidate will have:.

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
• Minimum five (5) years industrial manufacturing experience or equivalent of education and experience.
• Technical or trade school experience preferred.
• Knowledge of standard and intermediate hand tool use.
• Ability understand and follow standard operating and safety procedures.
• Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Ability to perform routine to advanced maintenance

?Schedule: Monday to Friday 1st shift 5am - 1:30pm

Pay: $23 to $30 per hour
