Texas Endoscopy Plano East is hiring a full-time Insurance benefit specialist:

Job Description:

Verify insurance benefits and determine patient's estimated out-of-pocket expense based on insurance contract. Maintain schedules with newly scheduled cases as well as cancellations. Schedules appointments by retrieving schedule. Shall be knowledgeable of HIPPA regulations concerning protected healthcare information and other federal guidelines regarding confidentiality. Shall be flexible to perform a variety of duties. This position requires strong interpersonal skills to regularly interact professionally, promptly and courteously with patients, physicians and their offices, in addition to other center personnel.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of related experience and/or training. Basic math skills and computer competency are needed.
