As a Junior Management Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing, coordination and publishing technical documentation, accomplishing studies and/or business analytics, and assisting management in operating more efficiently and effectively.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with Project Manager, Technical and Business teams, and Team Leads.
  • Gather information from SMEs/team and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
  • Create, coordinate, and maintain project technical documentation/artifacts including: Systems Design Documents, Architecture Diagrams, Data flow diagrams, user guides, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and project managers,
  • Work with program/project managers and leads to identify documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine best solutions for data compilation and centralized storage.
  • Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that meet required standards and allow for easy data migration.
  • Develop content in alternative mediums to maximize stakeholder use
  • Stay up-to-date with Azure technologies and industry trends, including new features and best practices for Azure architecture.

Location and Travel Details

This is a hybrid position, with 1-2 days onsite a week at one of the following locations:
  • Ft. Belvoir, VA
  • Adelphi, MD
  • Aberdeen, MD

Security Clearance and Citizenship Requirements

This position requires a Secret clearance

Profile of Success

  • Ability to understand complex technical and business concepts and document them in an easy to navigate and consume manner.
  • Ability to analyze and understand complex data models.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint) and PDF software such as Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with systems development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in technical writing.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision and oversight.

Desirable Skills

  • Technical writing experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Azure certification
  • Ability to work in a diverse, flexible, deadline-driven, government environment.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.
  • Maintains high level of confidentiality in the performance of tasks to be delivered.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks successfully
